Welcome to Zerno. By accessing or using our website and developer tools (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting a notice on the Service or updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Zerno provides a collection of free developer tools that run entirely in your web browser, including but not limited to:

  • JSON Formatter and Validator
  • Base64 Encoder/Decoder
  • UUID Generator
  • URL Encoder/Decoder
  • Timestamp Converter
  • Hash Generator
  • JWT Decoder
  • JSON Converter
  • Additional tools that may be added over time

All tools process data locally in your browser. We do not store, collect, or have access to the data you input into our tools.

3. Use of Service

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You agree to use the Service in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scripts, etc.) to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed on the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

3.3 Data Security

While all tools run locally in your browser, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you do not input sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information (such as passwords, API keys, or personal data) into the Service. We are not responsible for any data you choose to process using our tools.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Content

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Zerno and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to any data you input into our tools. Since all processing happens locally in your browser, we do not have access to, store, or claim any rights to your data.

4.3 Trademarks

"Zerno" and "ZernoKit" are trademarks of Zerno. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through the Service will meet your expectations
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

You are solely responsible for validating the output of our tools and ensuring they meet your requirements. The tools are provided for convenience and should not be relied upon for critical operations without independent verification.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data or content
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the Service
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service

WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT ZERNO HAS BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zerno, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Zerno. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

We use third-party services including Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of information.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any legal action must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim arose.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zerno regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, regarding the Service.

15. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. A waiver of any provision of these Terms must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Zerno.
